After the May 10, 2010 National and Local Elections, the leadership of the City of Marikina has changed. Mayor Del R. De Guzman, a former 2nd District Congressman, is now the man in charge of continuing the development of the City.
Working hand in hand with him is the newly elected Vice Mayor, Dr. Jose Fabian I. Cadiz who is seriously working towards eradicating the use of illegal drugs in the City.
He has also made sure that everyone can view the City Council Sessions being held every Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. via live streaming at www.marikinacitycouncil.co.cc
He is trying to accomplish a e-governance system by creating his own team of tech experts called the Marikina City Council Information and Technology Center with the battle cry, "Transparency, Accountability and Accessibility through Information Technology".

Our Anniversary
It had been a year since we first met... I never thought that meeting would pave for a year of happy moments for us. But it did and now we are still together... though there are times that we have disagreements, we still held on to each other.
We may not be a perfect couple but still we are happy and we are together. I can only pray that in the coming years, we would be more mature in handling our relationship and we would be able to give each other support in every way we can.
I love you! Happy Anniversary...

Rainy Days are Here!
I'm not really fond of rainy days. I kind of feel a bit blue when it rains, for some reason maybe it's because of the coldness of the day or the somewhat darker than usual atmosphere that's making me feel a bit down.
But today, I thank God for the rain that's slowly pouring on the pavement outside my workplace. I thank God because we badly need water right now. Many dams are now on the lowest water level and it would affect a lot of people if it becomes even lower.
I don't want to be selfish and think only about my unreasonable dislike of rainy days. I'm happy today, there's going to be more water for all of us and that's all that matters. Thank God for this blessing!

A New Post... After a Long Time of Hiatus
It's been more than seven (7) months after my last post. I have actually forgotten my password for this account already. I didn't notice that it was that long. I had to search for my list of passwords to be able to sign in my account.
What ever happened? Why was I gone too long? I don't really know... I just lost the desire to write for sometime. I was at a loss for anything to write. Or maybe I was just too lazy.
Whatever it is... I want to go back to writing again, I don't want to permanently lose my writing ability. I would like to be able to express myself again through writing.
I am back... and I'll be back for good!
